Day 3 Only one word...brutal

One of the toughest days of the ride along the north Scotland coast from Upper Gills to Tongue. 60 miles of relentless hills and in glorious blazing sunshine. I'm not really complaining about the weather because it has been stunning. Those skies look more like the Caribbean!

Here are some of the views en route between John O'Groats, Thurso, Bettyhill and Tongue.

Heading south tomorrow to Alness via Dalnavie a 67 miler. Less than a 1000 miles to go!!!
