Day 4 Gone Cuckoo

Woken by a cuckoo this morning at 4.30...not something I write everyday!

Left the lovely Tongue at 0700 and headed South. As you can see it was another gorgeous day . Down past Crask Inn and onto Lairg and Bonar Bridge.

Stopped to admire the views from Bonar Bridge....then off to more stunning views over the Moray Firth.

Then up and up and up over towards Invergordon on the toughest climb I’ve ever made- a 3 mile climb which I never ever want to repeat ( Lake District next week!)

Finally, a trip down memory lane stopping at an old AA Box...number 504 don't you know!

Completed 67 miles today from Tongue to Alness via Dalnavie.

Monster day tomorrow - Loch Ness!
